Sometimes you feel like dancin'
I found out today that one of my photos was selected for the DCist Exposed Photography Show. You can read more about it on the DCist web site, but this was something I really wanted to be a part of and I am very happy that I will be.

For "Needs Coffee" from "Grilled Cheese with French Fries"
I just saw a quote from The Office on someone's photo on flickr, and it is blog worthy.
"Jim: Any time Michael asks me to do anything, I just tell him that Dwight should do it. Right now, this is just a job. If I advance any higher in this company, then this would be my career. And uh … well, if this were my career, I’d have to throw myself in front of a train. So really, it is a matter of life and death. "
I don't watch that show enough.

Pretty Good Year
2007 was a great year for me, and I am sad to see her go. I am taking a nod from Ms. Clarkson's list making and giving you a list of reasons why 2007 rocked.
I got married
I was published for the first time in a long time
Took my first paying gigs
Started a huge career change
Started a new school
Took about 8,000 photos
Traveled a bunch...Atlanta, Boston, NYC, Baltimore (does that count?, I did spend the night), Outer Banks, Maine, Cape Cod, Binghamton, NY, St. Lucia, Barbados, Puerto Rico, and Vienna.
Not a bad year. I did the things I love, with many of the people that I love. I had way more ups than downs, and isn't that all any of us can ask for?
Happy 2008 everyone! I wish you a good one.
